My goal for the day was to do as little as possible physically. I succeeded admirably. I arose at 7, ate breakfast, and organized my gear. About 9, I walked across the street to the discount grocery store to buy food for two days. Back at the motel, I read a book about southwestern anthropology, ate lunch, and took a nap. Then dinner cooked outside my room and a hockey game on TV. In bed at 8:30. Mission accomplished.
