Transition : Biking to Hiking the AT

Given the massive number of tourists and their cars, the shuttle bus is the only way to go. One of the featured spots, Sand Beach, attracts lots of people to its sand beach and 55-degree water (see photo).  In the task department, we took our bikes to a bike shop to be boxed and shipped home. We also mailed our extra gear and clothing home.
