A blessed day in town. At 8am, I walked to the bakery for breakfast of an egg sandwich and a cup of coffee. Then a trip to the outfitters to replenish my alcohol fuel, buy a tube of seam sealer for my tent, and a bug head net. For lunch, a pint of ice cream, a hot dog, and a piece of apple pie. After lunch, I read the New York Times then got a ride with shuttle guy Kenny to a Walmart in Stroudsburg, PA to resupply. Then more reading and sock washing. I chatted with Riley about his European cycling adventure then ate a pile of chicken wings for dinner with three of my hiker friends. The forecast rain arrived during dinner.
