Day 32 on the Continental Divide Trail. Grand scenery and water. I walked out of the campground at 6:30 on a gravel road then along US Hwys 64 and 84 for half a mile to a trail junction. In a quarter mile, I met Timber who had also stayed in the campground.

Day 30 on the Continental Divide Trail. A mild night in camp. I started at 6am and Timber soon followed. We walked on a road for a mile then gained elevation to the top of an escarpment. We followed a trail through ponderosa pine, piñon, and juniper forest.

Day 31 on the Continental Divide Trail. Last night was the coldest of the trip at 10,400 ft elevation. I was grateful for my warm sleeping bag. Timber and I hit the trail at 6:30 after getting water from the spring. The trail ran through forests and meadows.

Day 29 on the Continental Divide Trail. I left my camp before my generous neighbors were stirring. After a quick pottie stop at the tidy outhouse, I started walking along the gravel road. I enjoyed grand views of the sandstone cliffs south of the river.
